萬物靜觀皆自得,大塊假我以文章
Calmly observe
And the myriad phenomena become self-evident.
Nature narrates itself
Perfectly.
山中無甲子,人間幾千年
Living in the mountains
there is no sense of time
meanwhile, in the mundane world
a thousand years have passed.

Did I see the holy sites of Deer Park and Vulture Peak? Or just hearing the sound of the Dharma...
ReplyDeleteVery cold. Good pictures.
ReplyDeleteLet me live/deep in the mountains/where winds sing sacred songs/ and the air is pure/ where there is no sense of today and tomorrow/and all the years merge into a single moment. Far from the noise of the world/I will build my hut/listen to morning hymn of robin and thrush/watch sunrise and sunset/sleep under stars. Empty of thought/the water of the mind settles/and I walk the Path of the Sages.
ReplyDeleteNice poem! Where is it from?
ReplyDeleteYes there were deers, peacocks, and I believe elks. And the Vulture Peak of Colorado!
Where is the nice poem from? It's from the beautiful mind of B.Y. of course!
ReplyDeleteMay we have the courage and wisdom to dwell in the world of the Five Turbidities. Amid cries from those who suffer/we will build the pure land/listen to the Dharma birds proclaiming the teachings of Amitabha Buddha/all beings merge into a single body. Empty of the notions of a self, a person, a sentient being and a life span/and we walk the Path of the Bodhisattvas.
